The Nuts Cultivation Company (NCC) is an organic almond producer company, operating almond orchards in the village of Kvemo Bodbe, Sighnaghi municipality, the Kakheti region. The NCC is now seeking a new team member and announcing the vacancy for the position of Almonds Orchards Manager.
Details of the Role:
** Manage the team, tractors, farm equipment, and irrigation system, ensuring timely implementation of deliverables and maintenance of machinery and irrigation system.
** Ensure application of water and fertiliser according to the plans set up by the Senior Agronomist and oversee the timely implementation of all seasonal works on the land (including pruning and weed management).
** Monitor and report on diseases, insects, and tractor operations in the orchard, including inventory management.
** Keep detailed records of all activities in the orchard, particularly in organic areas.
** Manage new planting and harvest activities.
** Ensure on-time notification of any potential risks and emergencies.
Requirements:
** Qualified agronomist with experience in almonds, walnuts, or stone fruits
** Experience in orchard management.
** Good command of English
** Driving licence and Passport
** IT literate with good knowledge of Excel
** Independent and self-driven individual who can follow and implement instructions accurately and demonstrate leadership.
** Knowledge of repairing farm equipment and pumps would be helpful, but is not essential
Work Environment:
** The role requires management of operations 6 days a week and begins from 1 February 2026.
** Work at the land is mainly outdoors and subject to extreme hot (max 40 degrees centigrade) or cold weather (-1 to +5) conditions. To minimise working in hot weather, work starts at 5 am during the peak summer.
Remuneration:
Package includes:
** 3, 000 GEL per month after taxes.
** Local accommodation and transport to the land
** 21-day holiday, after completion of the three-month probation period
** Local health insurance
