IB Mthiebi is pleased to announce an opening for the position of A Level (Edexcel) Math Teacher.

Start Date:
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified A Level Teacher to join our academic team and deliver Edexcel A Level programmes to a high standard. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom practice, and a clear understanding of UK examination requirements.
Key Responsibilities
** Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with Edexcel A Level specifications
** Prepare students effectively for external examinations, including assessment objectives (A01-A03)
** Plan schemes of work, lesson materials, and assessments aligned with exam-board standards
** Monitor and assess student progress using data-driven approaches
** Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students
** Maintain accurate academic records and reports
** Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
** Communicate professionally with parents, colleagues, and school leadership
Required Qualifications & Experience
** Bachelor`s degree in a relevant subject (Master`s degree preferred)
** Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent preferred)
** Proven experience teaching A Level (Edexcel) or equivalent UK curriculum
** Strong understanding of exam technique, mark schemes, and assessment objectives
** Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs
** Excellent communication and classroom management skills
** High level of professionalism and commitment to student achievement
Desirable
** Experience teaching Economics and/or Mathematics at A Level
** Familiarity with GCSE to A Level transition support
** Experience using formative assessment and exam-style questioning
** Commitment to continuous professional development
