About the event

AI Tech Georgia Expo & Summit 2026 is a large-scale international AI-focused exhibition and multi-track conference taking place in Tbilisi, Georgia in July 2026.

The event will bring together:

** 180+ exhibitors
** 5, 000-8, 000 delegates
** Global speakers across AI as a whole including enterprise AI, applied AI, infrastructure, data, robotics, SaaS, regulation, investment, and emerging use cases.

The purpose of the event is to position Georgia as a strategic AI and innovation hub, bridging Europe, Asia, and emerging markets, and attracting global technology companies, investors, and ecosystem partners.

The role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Head of Sales to take full ownership of exhibitor and sponsorship revenue for the AI Tech Georgia Expo & Summit.

This is a senior, hands-on commercial role suited to someone with proven B2B expo and sponsorship sales experience, capable of closing $10, 000-$100, 000+ sponsorship deals and building a strong, predictable pipeline.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, Head of Marketing, and Sales Assistants, and will be fully accountable for sales performance, forecasting, and delivery against targets.

Key responsibilities:

Commercial Ownership

** Take full responsibility for exhibitor and sponsor revenue
** Own and deliver against sales targets and revenue forecasts
** Build and manage a robust, live sales pipeline
** Track revenue vs forecast and adjust strategy as required.

Sales Strategy & Pricing.

** Develop and manage exhibitor and sponsorship pricing grids and packages
** Structure early-bird, standard, and premium sponsorship offers
** Propose bespoke and high-value sponsorship opportunities ($10k-$100k+)
** Work with the Project Manager to ensure pricing and packages align with event positioning (Final pricing and structural changes require PM sign-off)

Outreach, Negotiation & Deal Closing.

** Lead outbound B2B sales outreach across Europe, Asia, GCC, and Georgia
** Personally manage and close high-value exhibitor and sponsor accounts
** Leverage warm introductions, partnerships, and networks
** Negotiate and close sponsorship deals from $10k to $100k+ Convert leads into LOIs and signed contracts

Pipeline Management & Reporting

** Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records (Hot/Warm/Cold pipeline)
** Produce weekly sales and forecast reports
** Identify risks early and propose corrective actions
** Provide commercial updates for Steering Group reporting via the Project Manager

Team Collaboration & Leadership

Work closely with:

** Project Manager - delivery alignment, quality control
** Head of Marketing - inbound leads, campaigns, conversion
** Sales Assistants - research, list building, follow-ups, CRM hygiene

** Set clear priorities and weekly targets for Sales Assistants
** Ensure consistent messaging across sales, marketing, and programme teams

KPIs & Success Metrics

By 31 January 2026

** 10 exhibitors in active pipeline
** 2-3 sponsors in early-stage discussions

By 28 February 2026

** 15 exhibitor LOIs
** Clear sponsorship pipeline with assigned values
** Revenue forecast accuracy within ±10%
** Ongoing Weekly revenue vs forecast reporting
** Conversion rate by outreach wave
** Average deal size and sales cycle length

Required experience & profile

Essential:

** Proven experience in B2B exhibition and expo sales
** Demonstrated success closing sponsorship deals from $10k-$100k+ Strong background in pipeline management and revenue forecasting
** Experience selling to senior decision-makers (Founders, CMOs, Heads of Innovation) Comfortable selling internationally and working across time zones

Available full-time with an immediate start post-Christmas.

Desirable

** Experience in AI, technology, SaaS, data, cloud, or innovation-led sectors
** Experience working on international expos, summits, or large-scale conferences
** Existing network across technology vendors, sponsors, or ecosystem partners
