About the position: Finance Manager is a key team member responsible for providing financial control and support the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.
Functional Responsibilities:
** Define the company`s financial policy, develop and implement measures to ensure its financial sustainability, and manage financial operations in alignment with the company`s strategic goals and development prospects.
** Identify sources of funding, monitor compliance with financial discipline, track the status, movement, and allocation of funds, ensure timely and full execution of contractual obligations and revenue collection, and oversee financial transaction procedures and cash discipline.
** Evaluate the financial performance of the company.
** Lead the month-end closing procedures, including preparation and submission of the monthly financial package for validation.
** Prepare financial statement notes (FS notes) and ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external reporting standards.
** Implement and monitor foreign exchange (FX) protection strategies to mitigate currency risks.
** Manage intercompany transactions, ensuring proper documentation, reconciliation, and compliance with group policies.
** Lead the budget preparation process, including coordination with departments, consolidation, and variance analysis.
** Oversee and control bonus calculations, ensuring alignment with company policies and performance metrics.
** Supervise inventory and stock control, ensuring accurate valuation, reconciliation, and reporting.
** Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.
** Lead the development of the organization`s tax policy, including tax planning, optimization, and compliance with tax obligations.
** Improve accounting policies and ensure alignment with regulatory and corporate standards.
** Interact with credit institutions, banks, and other financial organizations.
** Participate in sales plan discussions and provide proposals to enhance business cost-effectiveness and reduce expenses.
** Contribute to the development of technical specifications for process automation and monitor ERP system accuracy and data integrity.
** Provide necessary financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
** Lead the team responsible for local accounting and financial control.
Requirements:
** Education in finance, accounting, or economics.
** Relevant work experience min. 3 years (practical experience in retail business will be a huge advantage).
** Experience and knowledge of 1C program.
** Proven knowledge of English and Russian.
** Commercial and business awareness.
** Ability to stick to time constraints.
** Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
