The Danish Cultural Institute is looking for a Local Project Coordinator.

The position is open in Tbilisi, Georgia, from February 1st 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter) for a period of a year with the possibility of prolongation.

You will be a part of Danish Cultural Institute`s (DCI) team for the Eastern Neighborhood Countries (ENC) based in Denmark, Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia. DCI is implementing a diverse range of cultural activities in the region where we work closely with partners from the cultural sector in the ENC. Your daily reference will be the DCI project manager in Copenhagen. However, you should expect to be in daily contact and coordination with the whole project team.

Your main task will be coordinating regional activities and events as part of a larger international program that supports culture and creative industries in the regions of Georgia. The position therefore entails extensive traveling within Georgia as well as potential limited traveling to Denmark. You will also be coordinating other smaller cultural projects in Georgia and other countries in the ENCs as part of your portfolio.

As our new project coordinator your main tasks will be:

** To arrange a series of public cultural events in the regions of Georgia
** To codevelop different concepts on cultural spacing with DCIs ENC team
** To build relations and communicate with local stakeholders
** To coordinate with international partners and donors on joint activities
** To ensure proper monitoring and evaluation of activities in the regions
** To handle a variety of coordination and logistic tasks
** To manage smaller cultural project and support Danish-Georgian cultural exchange

We are searching for candidates with following skills and competencies:

** Documented experience working with complex international projects; ideally EU projects
** Documented ability to keep overview of many tasks, deadlines and requirements
** Good people skills, flexibility and ability to work in teams and with many different partners
** Fluency in English and Georgian
** Proven experience in project management and teamwork, including financial management, communication and M&E
** Extensive knowledge and understanding of the current political and social situation in Georgia
** Knowledge about the cultural field in the region and experience in international cultural cooperation is an advantage
** A driver`s license
