octa announces a vacancy for the position of Site Supervisor.
Position Objective
The Site Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of daily activities on the construction site, coordinating the work of workers, and ensuring that tasks are supported with materials, small machinery, and other necessary resources.
The Main Responsibilities
Supervision of Work Performers (workers):
** Organize, lead, and monitor the daily work of performers (by blocks, floors, shifts, or areas as determined by the Site Manager)
** Distribute work tasks among crews and ensure all necessary conditions for their completion, following the Site Manager`s instructions
Work Coordination and Control:
** Monitor the pace and volume of daily work
** Ensure compliance with quality and technical standards
** Identify defects and organize corrective actions
Management of Materials and Small Machinery:
** Collaborate with the Site Coordinator to identify, plan, and allocate auxiliary human resources, materials, and small machinery (hand tools, light equipment)
** Ensure efficient use of materials and optimal management of waste
Safety Supervision:
** Monitor compliance with workplace safety standards
** Provide safety instructions to workers and control their adherence
Reporting:
** Prepare reports on daily work progress and issues for the Site Manager
** Fill in work logs and document ongoing activities
Accountability
The Site Supervisor is accountable to the Site Manager and ensures that work is carried out daily in accordance with the established plan and quality standards.
Qualifications and Education
** Higher education, preferably in Civil Engineering
** Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Site Supervisor on construction field
** Knowledge of construction norms and regulations
** Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems
