Position: Civil Engineer - Construction Expert / (qt of vacancy: 1)
Work Place: Office work and site visists (Tbilisi - Office and sites)
Work Schedule: Full time
Main Responsibilities:
** Ensure full compliance with ISO/IEC 17020 standards, SAC 1.1:2020 requirements, and applicable national construction norms and regulations.
** Prepare and maintain comprehensive accreditation documentation, detailed inspection records, photographic and video evidence, and compliance reports in accordance with established standards.
** Conduct inspections of construction, installation, repair, reconstruction, and dismantling works, including electrical systems, low-current systems, HVAC, water supply, sewage systems, and gas networks.
** Verify compliance of performed works with applicable forms, project documentation, technical norms, and state regulations.
** Review and evaluate project documentation, cost estimates, Bills of Quantity (BOQs), procurement documents, and assess price adequacy and reasonableness.
** Conduct field measurements, perform comprehensive site assessments, and execute thorough documentation verification procedures.
** Participate in accreditation assessments and provide comprehensive support during annual and unscheduled evaluations.
Minimum Competency/Qualification Requirements:
** Master`s degree (or equivalent) in a construction-related engineering field.
** A minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in relevant construction and engineering disciplines.
** No current involvement in construction activities or supply of construction materials (impartiality requirement).
** Experience in inspecting engineering networks, electrical/low-current systems, HVAC, water supply/sewage, or construction works.
** Experience in project documentation review, cost/estimate evaluation, or Form #2 compliance checks.
** Preferably familiar with ISO/IEC 17020 requirements.
Other Skills:
** Ability to interpret project drawings, technical documents, and construction norms.
** Strong analytical and measurement skills, high attention to detail.
** Ability to prepare clear reports, photo documentation, and inspection evidence.
** Strong communication skills in Georgian (English/Russian desirable).
** Proficiency in MS Office and standard inspection tools.
