Logistics Solutions, an international freight forwarding and project logistics company, is launching a Training & Internship Program at its Head Office in Tbilisi for motivated individuals who aspire to build a professional career in transportation and logistics operations.
This structured program combines professional classroom-style training with hands-on operational experience as an intern in international and domestic freight forwarding. Upon successful completion of the program, only candidates who demonstrate strong performance, commitment, and potential will be considered and selected for a full-time Logistics Operations Specialist position within Logistics Solutions.
What You Will Learn:
** Fundamentals of international freight forwarding and multimodal transportation
** How to plan and manage road, sea, and air shipments
** Step-by-step operational processing of shipments, including order handling, coordination, and documentation flow
** Preparation and verification of transport, customs, and export/import documents
** How to handle incoming enquiries and support sales team, evaluate transport options, and negotiate with carriers and agents to achieve optimal service and buying conditions
** Use of logistics management systems and operational tools
** Effective communication and coordination with clients, suppliers, and international partners
** Practical problem-solving skills for operational challenges and customer service situations
** Key principles of cost control, shipment tracking, and performance monitoring within logistics operations
Key Responsibilities (during internship and after employment):
** Support day-to-day coordination of international and domestic transport operations
** Shipment planning, documentation, and communication with clients, carriers, and agents
** Prepare and check transport orders, loading lists, and customs documentation
** Monitor shipment status and ensure timely delivery
** Coordinate with suppliers/carriers, warehouses, port, and customs representatives
** Handle incoming enquiries and identify best transport solutions in terms of costs/modes/transit times
** Assist sales team in handling quotations, booking requests, and operational follow-ups
** Learn and apply company procedures, systems, and compliance standards
** Contribute to improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Candidate Requirements:
** University degree (or final-year studies) in Logistics, Transport Management, Business, or related field
** Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
** Keen interest in international logistics, supply chain, and transport operations
** Proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented approach
** Excellent command of Georgian and English (both written and spoken); knowledge of Russian and other additional languages is an advantage
** Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
** Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively in a team environment
