Job Summary:
As a Data Engineer Data & AI team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures that power advanced analytics, AI solutions, and client-facing data platforms. As part of an IT consulting company, you will work on diverse projects across industries, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions that enable clients to achieve their digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
** Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration solutions.
** Build and optimize data architectures to support data warehousing, big data processing, and real-time streaming.
** Collaborate with Data Architect, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Business Analyst and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
** Implement data quality, governance, and security practices to ensure reliable and compliant data solutions.
** Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to develop modern data solutions leveraging managed services and serverless architectures.
** Optimize performance of data storage, retrieval, and transformation processes for structured and unstructured data.
** Support the migration of legacy systems to modern data platforms (cloud and on-premise).
** Document data workflows, architecture decisions, and best practices.
Qualifications:
** Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
** 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
** Strong expertise in SQL, relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
** Experience with data pipeline tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Luigi).
** Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
** Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Apache Airflow).
** Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT design patterns.
** Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery).
** Knowledge of CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is a plus.
** Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
