Aptos team is looking for Medical Writer
Position Summary:
Medical writer position is responsible to work with doctors, scientists, and other subject matter experts (SMEs) to create reserach manuscripts that describe research results, product use, and other medical information.
Medical writer is responsible to prepare protocol synopsis, clinical study protocols, perform literature review and clinical evlauation, clinical study reports as per regulatory requirements.
Medical writer is required to ensure that documents comply with regulatory, publication, or other guidelines in terms of content, format, and structure.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Medical writing:
** Performing literature search
** Preparation of outline
** Literature searches
** Draft and edit high quality, medically accurate manuscripts
** Incorporation of author comments
** Clinical Evaliuation
** Clinical Study Protocols
** Clinical Study Reports
Editorial assistance:
** Copyediting of manuscript
** Formatting manuscript for submission
** Formatting references
** Styling the reserach manuscript per scientific journal requirements
Choose the right journal for publication: Submit articles for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals
Data preparation:
** Assembly/preparation of figures and tables
** Development of figures and tables
** Statistical analysis of data (basic statistical analysis methods for scientific reseraches)
** Communicate with stakeholders to ensure publications are time-appropriate
** Propose initiatives about new studies, about improvement and implementation of new research methods.
Requirements and Qualifications:
** Bachelor`s degree in medicine, life sciences, science field
** Ph.D. strongly preferred, MD beneficial
** Experience writing and editing scientific documents inlcuding study protcol synopsis and protocols, clinical study reports, literture serach reprots, clinical evaluation reports
** Ability to meet deadlines
** Organizational skills
** Excellent knowledge of the English language
** Faultless communication skills, both written and verbal
** Attention to detail
** Analytical skills and able to interpret data
** Job type/working hours
** Full time position. Working days and hours are Monday-Friday, from 09:30 to 18:00. Office-based.
** Can be disucssed hybrid working regimen.
Other Duties:
Other tasks per company request, e/g/ support in presentation preparations, marketing documentation preparations and etc.
