Hardware Engineer role at Signal Integrity team of Worldwide leader networking company CISCO through INFINITUM/PTEC in Silicon Valley, California.
Working with top networking company CISCO in the world through INFINITUM/PTEC and working with a very dynamic team solving challenging signal and power integrity problems for bleeding edge technologies while developing tools and automations to support innovation for next generation switching and routing solutions. Hired persons will work with teams in Silicon Valley (California) remotely from Georgia. Hired persons expected to work 40 hrs. per week and 8-11pm (Georgian time) to overlap work hours in California.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform advanced signal and power integrity analysis for high-speed networking products.
2. Support design, simulation, and validation of high-speed interconnects, PCB stack-ups, and power delivery networks.
3. Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline SI/PI workflows and improve productivity.
4. Document and communicate findings, methodologies, and recommendations clearly with team members.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor/Master`s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics
2. Knowledge of scripting in Python/MATLAB/C++
3. Excellent communication skills with the ability
4. Willing to constantly learn new technologies and develop technical as well as leadership skills
5. Passion for work. Hard and independent working style
6. Strong Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking and ability to explain tasks clearly with teammates
7. Fluency in English (speaking and writing).
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience with scripting languages such as MATLAB or Python.
2. Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools (ANSYS HFSS, SIwave, CST, or similar).
3. Hands-on experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., Keysight ADS, Cadence Sigrity, SPICE-based tools).
4. Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity fundamentals: transmission lines, impedance, crosstalk, S-parameters, PDNs.
