In your role as a Safety and Security Lead, you will work with forward-thinking, innovative team members and be passionate about ensuring the safety and security of all. You would be responsible in investigation into all incidents, damages and dangerous occurrences within and surrounding the Hotel. As our Safety and Security Lead, you would be the person in charge of running Health and Safety meetings, training all our colleagues and ensuring that everyone is up to date with our standards and procedures.
Coordinating all risks management insurance inspections and fire contingency arrangements with the company insurance brokers would also form a major part of your role with us. Along with this, you would be building and maintaining a good working relationship with all legislative authorities and statutory bodies to ensure that the hotel is in line with the relevant legislation.
Radisson RED is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Safety and Security Lead
Duties and Responsibilities:
** To work within the parameters of the security manual, the Hotel policies and procedures
** Ensure the security department portrays a professional and un-bias standard at all times
** Organize and carry out training for staff in all areas of Health and Safety
** Liaise with the local council, fire department and other agencies when needed
** Ensure that all legal responsibilities in areas of licensing are carried out
** Maintain records pertaining to Public Carriage Office, ensure all documentation is valid and within time frames
** Work with management and staff at all levels, portray a professional and willing attitude at all times
** Ensure that all fire equipment (including fire panels) are operational at all times and work with the engineering department in this respect
** Work with joint venture in all areas, ensure Health, Safety and Security guidelines are in place
** Deliver Fire Safety & H&S Training to new employees during onboarding when necessary.
** Update Risk Assessments on an annual basis, review regularly and change where needed due to an accident, hazard or change in the workplace
** Review Fire Risk Assessments on an annual basis and/or changed to the structure of building
** Ensure all licenses are up to date, work with legal partners when needed to update.
** Ensure all licenses are displayed as per instruction
** Communicate and maintain constant mutual understanding with all other hotel departments.
