POSITION: Inspection Engineer (qt of vacancy: 1)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
** Ensure all civil and structural equipment on the designated onshore facility is inspected and certified in accordance with approved plans.
** Control and co-ordinate all inspection activities in accordance with COMPANY and CONTRACTOR codes of practice, procedures, strategies, and legislation where applicable.
** Provide regular feedback to the COMPANY Civil and Structural Engineer and Senior Civil Engineers.
Minimum Competency/Qualification Requirements:
** Bachelor`s Degree or higher in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related field).
** Professional certifications in inspection engineering or specific certifications for civil and structural inspection (e.g., CWI - Certified Welding Inspector, or equivalent).
Minimum Professional Experience:
** Minimum 5 years of experience in inspection engineering, preferably within the civil and structural sectors of onshore facilities.
** Experience with international and local inspection codes and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASME, ASTM).
** Proven track record in coordinating and managing inspection activities across projects, ideally in the oil and gas or construction sectors.
** Experience with inspection software (e.g., Asset Management Systems, ERP systems) and related documentation.
Other Skills:
** Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
** Familiarity with inspection software or project management tools
** Fluency in English (both written and verbal), especially to communicate effectively with international teams and report writing.
