We are hiring: Linux Server Administrator - Remote or Hybrid (Based in Georgia)
Location: Georgia (remote or hybrid)
Type: Full-time or Part-time
We are a Georgia-based company providing hosting and IT infrastructure services to a growing and diverse client base. We are looking for a reliable and versatile Linux Server Administrator to join our technical team. This position is ideal for an all-terrain professional who is capable of adapting to different environments and handling responsibilities independently.
What we`re looking for:
** Solid experience with Linux-based systems (e.g. Ubuntu, CentOS, OpenLinux)
** Good understanding of MySQL database administration
** Practical experience with WHMCS and cPanel server environments
** Ability to manage and troubleshoot email systems (Webmail, IMAP, SMTP)
** Comfort working with shell scripting (Bash), cron jobs, and routine automation
** Familiarity with web server configurations (Apache, NGINX) and DNS management
** Proven ability to work independently and resolve incidents under pressure
** Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Preferred (but not required):
** Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios, or UptimeRobot
** Knowledge of virtualization platforms (KVM, Proxmox, etc.)
** Understanding of firewall systems (CSF, iptables) and Linux server security
** Familiarity with automated backup systems and recovery procedures
