TokenHawk is a fintech startup at the intersection of AI, compliance, and crypto. We`re building an AI-first platform to radically simplify regulatory analysis, automate due diligence, and provide real-time monitoring of digital asset markets.

Our goal is to build lean products to explore different segments, find strong product-market fit, and scale hard when we hit it.
What You`ll Build
As our first full-time hire, you`ll work closely with the founder and take full ownership across the stack. You`ll be the engine behind our early MVPs and help lay the foundation for future scale.
You`ll work on:
** Automated Document Generation with structured inputs + custom prompts
** Crypto Monitoring Engine: API and web data collection (Reddit, Whois, CoinMarketCap)
** Live Alerting System for token & community tracking
** User Dashboard for analytics, requests, and compliance insights
Tech Stack:
** Frontend: Next.js (React + TypeScript)
** Backend: FastAPI (Python) (Node.js acceptable short-term if you`re able to transition to Python soon)
** AI/LLM: OpenAI GPT-4 Assistants, agents, prompt design
** Database: PostgreSQL
What We`re Looking For:
** 4-5+ years of full-stack development experience
** Strong Python skills (FastAPI preferred) OR ability to migrate from Node.js
** Deep, hands-on experience with AI tools, especially OpenAI API, embeddings, prompt design
** Fluent in React / Next.js
** Familiar with Cursor, Continue, Cody, or similar AI developer tools
** Strong web scraping and API integration capabilities
** Speaks and writes clear English (communication is critical)
** Must be fully committed - this is not a side gig
** Able to work fully time remotely.
** Startup DNA: fast, independent, quality-obsessed, scrappy
Bonus Points:
** Prior experience building LLM-based or agent-driven apps
** Experience in fintech, crypto, or compliance
** Previously a founding engineer or early team member
** Loves shipping MVPs, collecting feedback, and iterating fast
