JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Consultant will play a key role in the Business Process Solution (BPS) Division, reporting to the Service Line Managers and Head of Department. This position requires a highly experienced and skilled professional in accounting and financial reporting with the ability to manage multiple accounting projects and oversee the performance of the accounting team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
** Lead and manage a variety of accounting projects, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of financial reports and statements.
** Oversee and guide the accounting team in daily operations, providing direction and support to junior staff.
** Review and evaluate the performance of junior accountants, offering feedback and training to ensure high-quality work.
** Supervise the preparation and filing of tax returns and other financial reports in compliance with Georgian tax regulations and international standards.
** Ensure the efficient and accurate implementation of accounting software and financial reporting tools.
** Manage and coordinate the preparation for audits, liaising with external auditors and clients to ensure smooth processes.
** Strengthening internal controls by reviewing and refining accounting processes and documentation, identifying areas for improvement.
** Handle complex accounting issues and resolve any problems that may arise in the course of managing multiple projects.
** Act as a primary point of contact for clients on all financial and accounting matters
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
** University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
** Extensive experience (2+ years) in accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance, with a proven track record of managing accounting teams or projects.
** Strong expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Georgian tax legislation.
** Significant experience with accounting software (such as Fina, Oris, Balance, 1C).
** In-depth knowledge of preparing and analyzing financial statements, including profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
** Solid understanding of tax regulations and financial compliance requirements in Georgia.
** Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to manage, mentor, and train accounting professionals.
** Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
** Professional demeanor and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
** Excellent communication skills in Georgian and English, both written and verbal.
** A self-motivated, results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
SALARY: 2100-2500 GEL (NET)
