General Responsibilities:
** Assisting senior chefs with food preparation specific to Asian cuisine.
** Learning and mastering new culinary techniques and recipes unique to Asian gastronomy.
** Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen work area.
** Monitoring and managing stock levels of ingredients.
** Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
** Supporting the kitchen team in all aspects of daily operations.
General Requirements:
** Proven, significant experience as a Commis or similar role in a professional kitchen, with a strong focus on Asian cuisine.
** Solid understanding of Asian cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
** Strong commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
** A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop within an Asian culinary context.
