We are pleased to announce an opening for the position of Cafeteria Cook.
Scope:
The Cafeteria Cook is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals for employees in accordance with the hotel`s standards, recipes, and food safety requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
** Prepare, cook, and present meals according to established menus and recipes.
** Ensure food quality, taste, portion control, and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
** Prepare food items promptly to meet cafeteria service schedules.
** Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, including HACCP procedures.
** Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, workstations, storage areas, and food preparation areas.
** Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of inventory shortages or replenishment needs.
** Minimize food waste and support cost-control initiatives.
** Work collaboratively with kitchen team members and support daily operational requirements.
** Follow all company policies, procedures, and hotel brand standards.
Requirements:
** Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role, preferably in hospitality or hotel operations;
** Understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices;
** Strong teamwork and communication skills.
